Before he could think about his situation more though he heard a knock on the door if the fake ‘hotel room’ he was in, followed by a familiar voice. Looking at his reflection, he was shocked to find out that he was now Chell, the silent protagonist of Portal 2. Next, a jumpsuit would form tied around his waist, though the leg portions of the jumpsuit were still being worn as they normally would be.įinally, the dizziness he had been experiencing stopped, but at this point it was much too late. Unfortunately for him, more than just his clothes size would change. His legs and arms slimmed out, and His clothes soon were resized to fit his new body. When he finally noticed the changes that were happening to himself it was too late, and the changes were spreading rapidly. He shrank a few inches, and his facial features morphed completely, to fit that of the protagonist of portal, Chell. He no longer needed glasses, as the changes fixed his vision. First his hair grew out, and his eye colour changed along with the colour of his hair. While he was paying attention to the changes the room was experiencing, he hadn’t noticed the changes that were happening to his body, as his physical appearance and clothing had been changing. His room was changing, and it was starting to look like the hotel room seen at the beginning of Portal 2, slowly the layout changed along with the furniture, which also started to mimic the opening level from Portal. The wallpaper was changing, and so was the floor. He tried looking away from the TV screen, to hopefully make him feel better, but it only made him realize that something was off with his room. The game made Charlie Dizzy, and disoriented. Almost immediately after starting the game though, something felt extremely wrong. He hadn’t played it up until now, which made it even more exciting for him. He had lost his original copy of Portal 2 a few months ago, though he did buy a new one at a used games store. Charlie decided to play through the beginning half of the game again, though this would turn out to be something that he would likely regret. He also really liked the story that was present throughout the game. It had been his favorite for a while, mainly because of its gameplay and humor. After watching one of his favorite shows he decided he would start playing one of his favorite games, ‘Portal 2’. He had the house to himself for the week and he wasn’t going to take that privilege for granted. Charlie was home alone, watching TV, talking to friends over the phone, and playing games. ![]()
